Background

Zibarna was founded by Eduardo Rios Lasso, a doctor from Panama. During his travels, Eduardo encountered many hardships faced by people daily. These included environmental problems, drugs, scams and human trafficking.

His personal experiences inspired him to create a platform that informs and encourages people, especially young travelers, to travel more safely, enjoyably and most importantly, be more aware of the social issues closely related to the tourism industry.
